The he said/she said appears to be over as a rep for Melanie Brown has confirmed to People magazine that Eddie Murphy is the father of the former Spice Girl's baby.
Results of the DNA test taken by Murphy on June 11 were reportedly received by Brown on Thursday.
"He's the baby's father, it's official. The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his," a source told People. "There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all [Brown's]. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."
The 32-year-old singer gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown on April 3. On the birth certificate, Brown listed the child’s last name as Murphy.
Brown also has an 8-year-old daughter. Murphy has five children from his marriage to Nicole Mitchell Murphy and one from a previous relationship.
When asked about impending fatherhood in December, Murphy told a television reporter: "And I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."
A rep for Murphy declined to comment on this latest report
Of course his rep refused to comment, he is too busy ordering Eddie's dinner for tonight....deep fried crow!
Well, I'm sure even Eddie knew the child was his, if I was him I probably wouldn't want to pay child support to 7 kids either. YES people Eddie has 7 count em.. 7 children. Geesh, hasn't this guy ever heard of a condom?
